How do I capture a receipt?
Open the app and tap the "Add" button. The camera will automatically launch. Take a photo of your receipt, and the app will automatically extract information using AI.
How accurate is the OCR?
Our AI-powered OCR is highly accurate but may occasionally make mistakes, especially with poor quality images or unusual receipt formats. You can always edit the extracted information manually.
Can I export my receipts?
Yes! You can select multiple receipts and use the bulk download feature to save them to your device or share them via the system share sheet.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All receipt images and data are encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@keepmyreceipts.app with your account email. We will process your request within 30 days.
Can I use the app offline?
You can view previously loaded receipts offline, but capturing new receipts and syncing data requires an internet connection for OCR processing and cloud storage.
What file formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG, and PDF files. Photos taken with the in-app camera are automatically saved in the appropriate format.
Is there a limit to how many receipts I can store?
Free accounts have a storage limit. Premium subscriptions offer unlimited receipt storage. Check the app for current pricing and limits.
Can I edit receipt information?
Yes! Tap on any receipt to view its details, then tap the Edit icon to modify merchant, amount, date, category, tags, or notes.
How do I search for receipts?
Use the search bar on the main screen to search by merchant name or notes. You can also filter receipts by category using the category filter button.

The app won't scan my receipt
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection

- Make sure the entire receipt is visible and in focus

I can't log in
